■Basic Purpose of the Job
・To lead the S&OP cycles, developing the monthly consensus sales forecast with clear key assumptions and logical rationale, aligning with stakeholders, and updating the forecast into SCM systems.
・To develop appropriate Net Requirement Plans (NRP) and manage purchase‑to‑delivery activities to ensure timely and accurate supply.
・To maintain optimal inventory levels at distribution centres (DC) to secure stable supply while minimizing disposal.
・To communicate and collaborate effectively with cross function teams in the demand and inventory planning to drive and support business results.

■Accountabilities
1. S&OP & Consensus Demand Forecast Management
・Lead and facilitate the monthly S&OP demand cycle, prepare review materials, and document meeting decisions/actions and follow up.
・Develop a consensus sales forecast with key assumptions, integrating inputs on demand drivers, promotions, etc. from Marketing, Forecasting & Business Analytics, Distribution Management, and Finance.
・Review significant forecast deviations and provide recommendations and track action closure through S&OP to improve Forecast Accuracy (FA).

2. Manage Net Requirement Plan (NRP) & Planning Parameters
・Create and manage a 36‑month rolling NRP by incorporating demand, inventory, safety stock, and lead times.
・Reflect product events in the NRP (launches, discontinuations, SKU reductions, product succession, and change events).
・Maintain replenishment parameters accurate such as Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Economic Order Coverage (EOC), safety stock, lead times and related planning data in SCM systems.

3. Inventory & Fulfilment Management (Business OPU)
・Timely release of NRP to the supply team and issuance of purchase orders.
・Maintain optimal inventory levels at DC by reviewing replenishment plans and transport timelines, manage domestic inbound scheduling.
・Identify potential supply risks and coordinate with stakeholders to mitigate the risk.
・Review disposal risks by considering demand, event, and product expiry date.
・Lead replenishment and transportation planning for inbound deliveries from domestic manufacturing sites to local DCs and DC-to-DC transfers (Responsible).
・Optimize truck loading efficiency.
・Manage East–West inventory balancing.

4. Support of PLM events, New Product Launches, Discontinuations/SKU Reductions, and Product Successions
・Ensure product lifecycle events are correctly reflected in demand forecasts and NRP.
・Support finish goods related change event (stock transition timing confirmation, SKU switch).
・Align with oversea POPU or/and 3PMAWPLM group to ensure the correct artwork version is supplied per requirement.
・Launch Management: Manage demand forecast, NRP, first inbound management to meet timelines while preventing supply interruptions and controlling discard risks. Support information collection of logistics‑related attributes (temp control requirements, package configuration etc.)
・End-of-life management: Align supply discontinuation timing and final purchase plans with stakeholders and minimize disposal.
・Maintain key planning parameters in planning systems in a timely manner.

5. Data, Systems & Reporting Governance
・Update DMG and PLM SKU master list to reflect SKU latest status for internal use.
・Execute required system updates (e.g., sales forecast, NRP in SAP).
・Prepare and distribute KPI reports (FA, DoI, Discards, BIA, heatmaps etc,) to stakeholders.
・Support reports to external organizations or authority.

6. Contribute to Boehringer worldwide by maintaining or proposing new and/or best practices or processes
・Meet team targets / Project timelines
・Review and update above processes and work instructions in accordance with corporate and local standards.
・Identify and develop new practices within demand and inventory planning.

7. GDP/GMP Compliance
・Ensure planning data, timing and import process do not create GDP/GMP risks.
