You will be responsible for the development and operation of the data platform that supports the collection, search, and analysis of data generated by autonomous driving systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and operate data pipelines to collect and process driving data from vehicles
- Develop and operate APIs that provide driving history and statistical information
- Develop and operate data visualization and search services for driving data
- Build and operate internal data analytics platforms
Challenges and Opportunities
- Develop large-scale data pipelines that efficiently collect and process driving metrics and logs, enabling near real-time analytics
- Build systems that process unstructured data such as images and point clouds, and provide search and visualization capabilities
- Realize cost-efficient data management through automated analysis of massive volumes of driving data

At TIER IV, we are building a data platform to collect, search, and analyze diverse and large-scale driving data in order to realize a safer and more reliable autonomous driving society. The platform is required to address a wide range of challenges, including handling the rapid growth of data volumes driven by the expansion of autonomous driving, aggregating and searching real-time driving metrics and logs, automatically classifying driving scenes, and visualizing unstructured data such as images and point clouds.
To achieve TIER IV’s vision of “Democratizing Autonomous Driving,” we are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about building the data infrastructure that supports globally deployed autonomous driving services and delivering value to users together with us.

■Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in web application development and operations
- Development experience using programming languages such as Python and Go
- Experience developing and operating systems using cloud services such as AWS
- Experience designing system architectures and APIs
- Experience developing and operating data pipelines
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines
■Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data modeling, architecture design, and implementation using data warehouses (DWH) and data lakehouse technologies
- Knowledge of and experience working with automotive data attributes
- Experience leading software development teams
Preferred qualifications vary depending on the team and service assignment.
Data Search Services
- Experience developing and operating data platforms that handle non-textual data such as images and point clouds
- Experience developing and operating search, recommendation, or time-series data aggregation systems
- Experience building and operating data pipelines using a modern data stack
- Experience building and operating data analytics platforms utilizing BI tools and related technologies
Data Collection Services
- Experience developing Windows applications
