■Key Responsibilities:
・People Management - Managing full stack software engineers located in multiple countries, upskilling/reskilling, hiring / retention agenda and adoption of engineering culture
・Stakeholder Management - Managing key business stakeholders to deliver required technology capabilities to support the digital transformation agenda. Driving prioritization of the product backlog. This includes managing key vendors providing the resources, SaaS & other capabilities
・Technology Implementation – Collaborating with all parties including the business to deliver business results, as well as technology projects.
・Ways of Working – Adoption of the Agile ways of working in the software delivery lifecycle
・E2E Software Lifecycle Management (Architecture, Design, Development, Testing & Production)
1.Driving the decisions and implementation of technology best practices, architecture and technology stack including adoption of cloud, AI/Data, and other relevant emerging technology that is fit-for-purpose.
2.Driving architecture selection, software design, execution, and operations at the solution level, enabling the business to operationalize the day-to-day functions of the application/platform.
3.Lead technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. Partner with Product Family Executive on technology strategy aligned to business.
4.Develop applications for business solutions.
5.Conduct peer reviews of solution designs and related code, ensuring adherence to best practice guidelines and compliance with security and privacy mandates.
6.Investigate and resolve escalated production management incidents, problems, and service requests.
7.Ensure disaster recovery, privacy, and security are aligned to enable application/platform stability, including technology currency management.
・Partner with Cyber & IT Security, Data Analytics, Infrastructure, Global Risk Management, Compliance, and Internal Audit to provide the holistic provision of technology services including risks, controls and security, to the business.

■Education:
Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent

■Experience:
10 - 15+ years in leading software engineering teams to drive digital transformation in financial services or technology domain
Experience in developing and implementing applications using modern technology stack and patterns including cloud native patterns, public cloud (e.g. Microsoft Azure), AI/Big Data, API and web/mobile apps (Java/React)
Prior experience in developing mission critical applications, highly resilient, secure and performant from scratch in a complex and regulated environments will be an added advantage
Proficiency in software development lifecycle including CI/CD, test driven development, domain driven design and Agile ways of working
Strong experience in driving digital transformation especially people and cultural transformation
Proven track record in partnering with the business to deliver mission critical transformation via Agile approach
Partnering with business to delivery applications enhancements to support business priorities

■Language:
Bilingual proficiency at business level in English & Japanese

■Key Responsibilities:
・Lead and manage ITSM processes for Japan technology service operations, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Request Management.
・Oversee and drive the Major Incident Management process, ensuring rapid restoration of critical services and effective communication to all stakeholders, including senior management and business lines.
・Identify and implement strategies to improve the stability and resilience of IT systems and services, including developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans and technical recovery procedures.
・Collaborate effectively with business lines to understand their needs and align IT services with overall business objectives and risk appetite.
・Build strong relationships and drive collaboration with all IT partners (Application Development, Infrastructure, Security, Data organizations) to ensure end-to-end service reliability and continuous improvement.
・Lead and coordinate disaster recovery exercises, tests, and simulations, analyze outcomes, identify gaps, and implement improvements to data resilience strategies.
・Establish and enforce backup and recovery standards, ensuring data integrity and availability in the event of disruption.
・Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives within IT Service Management processes to enhance efficiency, service quality, and operational resilience.
・Create and deliver clear, concise presentations and reports on IT resiliency and ITSM performance to senior management and other stakeholders.

求める経験 / スキル
■Essential Experience, Skills and Competencies:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT resiliency, disaster recovery, business continuity, or a similar role within a large enterprise, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
Demonstrated expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and practices, including hands-on experience with incident management, problem management, and change management.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and business stakeholders.
Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and respond decisively to critical incidents.
Experience in building and leading high-performing teams, including mentoring, performance management, and fostering a collaborative environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and identify strategic solutions.
Knowledge of cloud technologies and emerging trends in backup, disaster recovery, and data resilience is highly desirable.
Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial services industry in Japan is a plus.


■Preferred
ITIL Certification.
Experience in defining and measuring Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) for mission-critical systems.
Hands-on experience with cloud architecture and operations (AWS, Azure, etc.).

■Required Experience:
At least 10 years of experience in cyber security, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Experience with governance, risk management, compliance, and control functions.
Proven experience in people management, continuous improvement, and automation of key controls.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Experience working in a global environment and managing stakeholders locally and across the globe.

■Preferred Experience:
Proficiency in tools like project management software, and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI).
Familiarity with regulatory / industry standards (NIST CSF, PCI DSS, FISC)
