If Japanese is a second language, JLPT 1 level proficiency and practical knowledge of Japan's business environment with proven building skills
If English is a second language, TOEIC score of 700+ or equivalent fluency; ability to pass language assessment if needed
Over 7 years of combined experience in software development and consulting, with no less than 3 years
Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently, with a flexible and proactive work ethic
Experience working in small teams and Agile development environments
Technical expertise in:
- Advanced web application development
- 2+ years of Object-Oriented Programming
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) with 2+ years of experience
- Ability to learn new products and business domains quickly
- Proven ability to lead customer discussions and navigate complex situations
- Full development lifecycle experience, from data modeling to UI/UX design

Desired skills/experience:

Experience or knowledge of non-life insurance in Japan, including policies and claims processing
Systems analyst/consultant experience company
Experience with business processes and configurations using configurable software such as Oracle Applications and SAP
Understanding of the SDLC and related project development lifecycle processes
Proficiency in scripting languages and modern web frameworks
