■Your role
As a Senior Scientist in abrasive technology within the Planarization business, you will play a crucial role in advancing the development of nanoparticles for chemical mechanical planarization (CMP).
You will lead key initiative including multiple projects focused on the design, synthesis, characterization of innovative nanoparticle technologies, and its application in CMP slurries.
Your responsibilities will include develop abrasive technology roadmap, manage projects with detailed milestone and success criteria, develop laboratory experiments and metrology, and analyzing data to derive actionable insights.
You will collaborate with cross-regional, cross-functional teams and central units to accelerate the development and implementation of newly developed particles.
This role offers the opportunity to present your ideas. findings to diverse audiences, including Sales, Marketing, and Management, thereby influencing strategic decisions.

求める経験 / スキル
■Minimum Qualifications:
M.S. or Ph.D in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science
5+ years’ experience in particle related research, development, application

■Preferred Qualifications:
Ph. D degree within abrasive/inorganic nanoparticle research area, is a plus
Proven expertise in nanoparticle synthesis, characterization and development through publication and commercialization
Working experience in abrasive/inorganic nanoparticle RD, metrology and application in an industrial setting, is a strong plus
Previous exposure to the semiconductor industry, particularly in CMP formulation and/or applications, is a strong plus
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills that support a diverse team environment
Hands-on experience in project management is highly desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

■Job Description:
Vespel® parts are served in a wide range of industries, including Transportation/Advanced Mobility, Aerospace, and Electronics globally, and is a historic DuPont business with a very strong Japanese presence. As a strategically important market, identifying growth opportunities and driving application development activities in DuPont's focused segments in Japan are critical activities for Vespel® business growth.

We are currently looking for business development leader who could bring in new Vespel® parts opportunities through building presence at the key electronics customers, identifying compelling value propositions for Vespel® parts and establish de-facto standard material position in the key applications.

■Job Responsibilities / Activities:
1. Understand electronics market dynamics, identify attractive and growing opportunities for Vespel® in electronics segment and lay out right go-to-market strategy with deep analysis of value chains and customer decision making process.
2. Execute robust business development plan from new pipeline creation to commercialization in the electronics segment.
3. Lead, engage and collaborate closely with cross-functional regional/global teams, including sales & marketing, product, TS&D, supply chain, operations, etc. in the execution of new development projects.
4. Leverage business development activities in Japan to drive identification of extended opportunities in APAC region.

As the Senior Manager, you will lead and deliver complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement effective solutions to produce a lasting impact for clients. Beyond client project work, the Senior Manager will contribute to the development of new clients and markets and provide regional and global thought leadership to innovate offerings and approaches. ■You will be responsible to:
•Focus on supporting the core Japan Industry Teams: Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Mining & Metals, Consumer Products, Power & Utilities and Private Equity;
•Collaborate closely with the ORM practice contributing to thought leadership, offerings and methodologies bringing global best practices into the Japan market and clients;
•Be a trusted advisor with senior client executives and maintain relationships in alignment with the account team to deepen and expand relationships;
•Participate and contribute to internal and external functional and/or industry networks with the aim of developing new business working with the global Marketing and the Industry Teams;
•You will have a client delivery chargeability target and a business development target.

求める経験 / スキル
•A graduate from a top-tier university with a Degree in engineering or a business-related major (i.e., management or finance). A post-graduate qualification will be beneficial.
•Relevant post-graduate degree in field of expertise (e.g., innovation, risk management, etc.) will be highly regarded.
•Ideally you should have at least 10 years of client-facing and strong project management experience. Having worked in, or delivered projects to Oil & Gas, Mining, Metals, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Private Equity industries would be to your advantage.
•Prior experience in an established consulting firm.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex projects and stakeholder interactions and provide fit-for-purpose recommendations.
•Exceptional interpersonal skills and team working attitude, to be able to lead multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams.
•High level of proficiency with PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Advanced Excel, Access, and ideally visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
•A big plus: An established presence and network in Japan.
•Fluency in written and spoken Japanese and English. Other languages are a bonus.
