株主、債権者、格付機関、経営者など当社の全ステークホルダーにとって、正確かつ適切な財務諸表の作成および開示は重要な関心事であり、当部はそれを担っております。
上記のようなステークホルダーからの要請を満たすことは、企業価値向上にも直結することから、本業務は重要な経営事項の一つとして位置づけられています。
当グループでは野村グループの財務会計担当として、米国会計基準での連結財務諸表の作成および報告・開示業務を担っております。
一方でこれを遂行していくために、グローバルでの整合性、効率的な業務の追求等も求められ、決算業務からは独立した形でターゲットオペレーティングモデルを策定していく必要があります。そのため、社内各部署や監査法人との意見調整、グローバルでのコミュニケーション能力および遂行力が重要となります。
さらに、決算業務以外でもAdhocな業務が求められるため、幅広い経験ができます。
Financial controllers play an important role of preparing and disclosing accurate and appropriate financial statements for all stakeholders including shareholders, lenders, rating agencies and board members. As the role is closely linked to Nomura Group’s corporate value, the job responsibilities are viewed as having significant importance for the running of the business.
Financial controllers perform a wide range of duties including preparation and publishing the consolidated financial statements for USGAAP.
On the other hand, in order to execute this, there is a need to pursue global consistency and efficient business operations, and it is necessary to develop a target operating model independently from the closing operations. Therefore, the ability to coordinate opinions with various internal departments and auditing firms, as well as strong global communication and execution skills, is important.
Furthermore, since ad-hoc tasks are also required beyond just the closing operations, there will be an opportunity to gain a wide range of experience.

Responsibilities：
決算早期化及び決算高度化を実現するためのプロジェクトに参画し、プロジェクトの計画・実行を担当
海外のコントローラーズと協力し、オペレーティングモデルの見直しやプロセス改善を推進
財務会計データの整理や、業務フローの最適化を行い、効率的な決算プロセスを構築
シニアマネジメントからのAdhocな業務に対して、関連部署等と協力して様々な提案を準備
Participate in projects aimed at accelerating the closing process and enhancing the quality of financial statements, taking responsibility for project planning and execution.
Collaborate with overseas controllers to review the operating model and promote process improvements.
Organize financial accounting data and optimize business workflows to establish an efficient closing process.
Prepare various proposals in collaboration with relevant departments for ad-hoc tasks requested by senior management.
