【職務概要】
The Senior Manager, Post-Marketing Surveillance (PMS), is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for post-marketing surveillance activities across the rare disease portfolio in Japan. This role ensures the generation of high-quality post-marketing safety and effectiveness data, compliance with Japanese regulatory requirements, and timely execution of regulatory commitments. The Senior Manager will lead the planning, execution, oversight, and interpretation of post-marketing surveillance programs, including Drug use-results surveys & Special drug-use surveys, and Post-marketing database studies. The role serves as a key partner to Safety, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Development, Commercial, and Global teams to ensure patient safety and support evidence generation throughout the product lifecycle. Given the unique challenges of rare diseases, including limited patient populations and evolving standards of care, the successful candidate will drive innovative approaches to evidence generation while maintaining the highest standards of scientific rigor and compliance.

技能/経験
Education
A bachelor's degree or higher in life sciences or a medical-related field is required.
• Pharmacy, Life sciences, epidemiology, public health, or a related field
Experience
Required
• 10+ years of pharmaceutical company experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Post-Marketing Surveillance, Pharmacovigilance, Epidemiology, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development
• Direct experience managing PMS project under Japanese regulatory requirements.
• Experience interacting with PMDA and regulatory authorities.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects.
Preferred
• Rare disease and/or orphan drug experience.
• Experience supporting re-examination applications.
• Experience with patient registries and real-world evidence studies.
