ROLE：
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in the development and the running of complex financial models and scenario analysis, to drive financial and commercial decisions for offshore wind energy projects in Japan.

Your responsibilities will include:
・Creating, developing, and maintaining financial models used for assessing key strategic decisions, such as assessing business cases and driving bidding strategy in offshore wind auctions
・Carrying out competitor and sensitivity analyses, to optimise bidding strategy
・Coordinating and reviewing the work of external consultants, such as the financial (or other) advisers
・Ensuring that investments are put forward using reasonable assumptions, especially regarding bankability
・Preparing presentations to communicate findings and make recommendations to ours Board and shareholders
・Evaluating the impact of investments or projects on the Group’s key financial metrics, such as EPS, net debt, and credit ratings

You will work closely with the wider our team, including Project Development, Procurement, Engineering and Energy Markets, in order to optimise the business case. This will involve working on a variety of value drivers across the project to manage risk, reduce cost and maximise financial return.

You will also work closely with the Corporate Finance team (based in Europe) up to investment decision, ensuring alignment on the business case and supporting the investment governance processes.
