We are now looking for an SCM Specialist in Japan, based in Tokyo,
■In this role you will be responsible for:
①Customer Service
1.Arrange delivery to domestic customer based on customer’s order (excl. direct shipment from overseas)
2.If necessary, negotiate delivery date and volume with customers and logistic vendors.
3.Execute from Sales Order creation to Billing in SAP
4.Create Debit/Credit memo if necessary
5.Give instruction to logistic companies to enable them to treat Kemira’s goods safely and properly based on SDS.
6.Arrange irregular delivery based on discussion with SCM manager and sales team
7.Timely SAP operation
8.In case of logistic issues (transportation delay, mistake by logistic companies, incident, any others), discuss with SCM manager and sales team and take necessary action
9.Send import shipping documents and arrival notice to custom broker for custom clearance arrangement
10.Negotiate with customer to prepone delivery timing to reduce demurrage or warehouse cost if possible
11.Quantity Contract creation in SAP
12.Communicate with sales team in missing PROS setting
13.Request credit limit release to sales and finance
14.For sodium chlorate, weekly cargo tracking and maintain tracking report. Inform tracking result for all coming orders to sales team and customers. For one customer, to send tracking report by excel file is required.
15.For sodium chlorate, contact local shipping line to check feeder schedule from Busan to Japan
16.For sodium chlorate, issue DG specific document and filing
17.Transfer 3rd party COA data to Kemira’s COA template and send to customer
18.Create logistic vendor’s holiday notification to every customer to get order well in advance Check all vendors working schedule and order deadline before and after holiday. For Golden Week, summer Bon festival holiday, and new year holiday.
19.Issue GHS label (for Henkel, repacked IBC, others if required)

②Monthly Closing Work
1.Consignment issue for consignment customer
2.Check BW data with customer’s purchasing report
3.Issue customer invoice by Kemira’s format and mail to customer
4.Receive customer invoice by customer’s format and send back it to customer after checking with Kemira Japan’s company stamp
5.Check consignment stock with customer’s consignment stock report and send back to customer with Kemira Japan’s company stamp
6.OTIF check in SAP
7.Check warehouse inventory report and SAP inventory
7.MIGO (disposal) in SAP for small volume scrap by difference between loading volume and customer’s scale
9.MIGO (repacking) in SAP for repacking from Bulk to IBC

③Logistics
1.Get Code of Conduct from logistic vendors
2.Send SDS to logistic vendors
3.Get RFQ from existing logistic vendor and new vendor for comparison
4.Find better logistic vendor
5.Find logistic vendor for new business and changing situation
6.Find logistic solution for logistics optimization
7.Issue logistic contract of final version and send it with company chop of authorized signer for conclusion.
8.Negotiate price both for regular and spot logistic cost if possible
9.Go to physical stocktaking for key warehouse.
10.Check year-end warehouse stock report and SAP inventory. Create stock taking report for all warehouses. After getting SCM manager’s signature, upload to SCM sharepoint
11.Check automatic payment of custom duty from bank account by using NACCS if necessary
12.Spot freetime negotiation to extend a few days due to difficulty of pick up during weekends
13.Send application foam to return defoamed container to container yard if necessary
14.Arrange regular disposal (empty flexitank, IBC, bag, drum)
Communicate with disposal agent and warehouse/customer for pick up date for disposal
15.To file disposal certificate
