The Project Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of solar, wind energy and/or battery energy storage projects mainly in Japan, and across the region on a case by case basis. This role includes structuring and securing project financing, conducting financial analysis, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth objectives.

Responsibilities:
〇Project Financing:
・Structure and secure project financing for solar, wind energy and/or battery energy storage projects, including debt and equity financing, in collaboration with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
・Negotiate terms and conditions of project finance agreements to ensure alignment with company objectives and financial goals.

〇Financial Modeling & Analysis:
・Develop detailed financial models to assess project viability, including cash flow analysis, return on investment (ROI), internal rate of return (IRR), and payback period.
・Conduct sensitivity analysis to evaluate the financial impact of various project scenarios and identify key risks and mitigation strategies.

〇Due Diligence:
・Lead financial due diligence for new projects, acquisitions, and joint ventures, ensuring all financial, legal, and regulatory aspects are thoroughly reviewed and assessed.
・Work closely with legal, technical, and commercial teams to ensure comprehensive due diligence and risk assessment.

〇Budgeting & Forecasting:
・Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with overall business objectives.
・Monitor project financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to ensure financial targets are met.

〇Risk Management:
・Identify and assess financial risks associated with solar projects, including market, credit, and operational risks.
・Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential financial risks and ensure project sustainability.

〇Stakeholder Management:
・Serve as the primary financial liaison with external stakeholders, including lenders, investors, and partners.
・Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to facilitate smooth financing processes.

〇Strategic Planning:
・Support the strategic planning process by providing financial insights and recommendations on project financing, investment opportunities, and market expansion.
・Contribute to the development of the company's long-term financial strategy in the renewable energy sector.

〇HSSE:
・Ensure all project financing activities comply with HSSE policies and regulations.
・Incorporate HSSE considerations into financial due diligence and risk assessments to promote sustainable and responsible investments.
