Talent Management is a critical function to ensure the development of the people resources as future assets for the organization, implementing the talent management strategies, processes and programs that align with a company’s mid-term business strategy. The responsibilities include performance management, employee engagement, leadership development and promotion, succession planning, and diversity & inclusion strategy and program.
Main tasks■■
1. Performance Management
Assist in carrying out implementation of performance management cycles and ensure it aligns with the Daimler Truck global guideline. Align with HR colleagues in planning performance management cycles for diverse levels & aspects (e.g., goal setting, employee evaluation, feedback, etc.) and confirm the smooth usage of IT tools.
2. Daimler Truck Employee Survey
Implement Daimler Truck Employee Survey as local coordinator in Japan in alignment with global team. Interpret and analyze data from Daimler Truck Employee Survey to prepare reports. Strategy and provide recommendations for improvement to enhance awareness and capability of our management.
3. Potential Validation
Implement Potential Validation assessment centers to evaluate employees’ potential and provide assistance for employees in alignment with company’s philosophy, culture and global validation process. Review and analyze data from employee’s potential evaluation and create reports to support decision-making of senior management. Assist assessors to familiarize with our validation process and philosophy including support provided after the potential assessments.
Implement new potential valuation program in case of need in alignment with global process.
4. Talent Management in HR Systems
Support our management team to discuss and strategize company future talent management by proving the framework and tools and facilitating the discussion by preparing the fact sheets and analyzed data. Drive effective talent management processes including succession planning, through design and delivery of discussion, programs, processes, timelines, resources to elevate the level of discipline and excellence in talent management.
5. Diversity and Inclusion
Develop, propose and execute initiatives and policies to foster MFTBC DEI goals and culture.
Review current practice and policies, assess and analyze the extent of how the practices and policies support MFTBC DEI goals together with HR policy team.
Ensure compliance with country and DT regulations on diversity and equity. Maintain relationships with diversity related organizations in order to set up cooperation and establish the company’s brand.
Responsible for all internal and external communication together with our communication team and/or HR Reporting team to develop and implement DEI related events and programs, manage and lead ERGs (Employee Resource Group) and report on DEI including data analysis.

Necessary Qualifications■■
・University Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related fields (preferred)
Necessary Experience■■
Need to have several experiences of the below lists:
・Experience in talent management and leadership development (preferred)
・Experience in performance management and leadership assessment (preferred)
・Organizational development (preferred)
・Experience in DEI initiatives in Japan (preferred)
・Experience in Employee Engagement initiatives (preferred)
・HR related event organization & management (preferred)
