A wholly-owned subsidiary of a Fortune Global 500 and one of the largest trading houses in Japan engaging multifaceted business activities. This subsidiary focuses on supporting the power business globally by looking at investment opportunities mainly in large-scale IPPs in various markets with wide ranges of technologies utilizing project financing. To support the expansion of the business, we are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst / Manager to join our Finance & Modeling Team.
■Roles and Responsibility
- Supporting the origination, development, due diligence, approval and implementation of power investment projects globally
- Developing detailed financial models for feasibility studies, open tenders, and negotiation deals
- Performing model due diligence across the whole spectrums of project aspects including tariff setting, financing, EPCi, O&Mii, during the state of development and/or asset management
- Collaborating and coordinating with experts from various areas, e.g. banking, accounting, tax, legal, technical, to work within the same project team

■Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree major in finance, accounting, or related fields
- Experience in multinational environment is preferrable
- Highly adaptable and flexible, ability to work in a fast paced, global organization setting and communicate with multiple specialized experts
- Experience in project financing projects is preferrable
- Experience in power / energy sector with large scale projects is preferrable
- Critical thinking, fast learning, open mindset
- Willing to work hard and accommodate different time zones in a sustainable manner
- English communication (verbal and written) key part of work
- Travelling will be expected especially toward tender projects
