To support our expansion and growth acceleration strategy in Japan, we are looking for a Head of Finance to lead our fast paced business and dynamic team.
This strategic plus hands-on role offers both responsibility partnering with our business and developing our finance talent pipeline.
This represents a unique opportunity to contribute to our Align team and Asia Pacific.
This position will report to VP Finance, APAC with dotted-line reporting our Japan business head, VP and Managing Director Japan.
求める経験 / スキル
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, or professional accounting certification such as Certified Public Accountant / chartered Accountant.
•An MBA will be viewed positively
•At least 15 years of relevant experience with 10 years in managerial/supervisory role
•Working experience in a fast-paced multinational company environment, with ability to operate in diverse cultures
•Must have experience in Japan (APAC experience will be viewed positively)
•Experience in leading a sizable team and a good team player
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, and good interpersonal skills to give strong business partnering support
•Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
•Deadline-conscious with “can do” spirit to ensure timely reporting
•Have a positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods
•Agile, results oriented and customer focused
•Acts with integrity and fairness and high standards of accountability

SKILLS REQUIRED:
•Language: English and Japanese (written and spoken)
•Strong systems skills with prior experience of Finance ERP system. Working knowledge of SAP is a plus
•Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables

仕事内容
【Job Purpose】
Maximize sales and profit in Japan by developing and executing marketing strategies.

【Duties and Responsibilities】
• Create marketing strategies to lead the overall activities.
• Lead product launches and manage existing portfolio: market analysis, forecast, launch plan training and all promotional activities in Japan, through close collaboration with the global HQ, sales team and logistics, etc.
• Lead and develop a team of 4-6 direct reports with 30+ teammates.

Country Manager.
求める経験 / スキル
【Skills and Experiences】
• Bachelor's degree or above within business, economics, marketing, finance or similar.
• In-depth marketing experience in the medical industry is required.
• Significant people management experience (min 5 years).
• Language: highly fluent English and smooth communication with global HQ, Japanese is not required.
