■Primary Purpose of the Position
The Manager Media – Japan & Korea will be responsible for supporting the execution of media strategies and marketing campaigns specifically tailored to the Japan and Korea markets. This role will focus on driving brand awareness, engaging local audiences, and enhancing performance through targeted media and marketing initiatives. Working closely with the Head of Media APAC, the incumbent will ensure local campaigns align with global and regional objectives while adapting strategies to meet the unique needs of the Japanese and Korean markets.
■Principle Duties and Responsibilities
-Support Execution of Media Strategy for Japan & Korea:
Assist in implementing media strategies specifically for Japan and Korea, ensuring campaigns are tailored to local trends, preferences, and media platforms (e.g., LINE, Kakao, Naver, YouTube, etc.).
Work with the Head of Mediato align local campaigns with global and regional marketing goals while addressing market-specific needs in Japan and Korea.
-Media Planning & Campaign Management:
Manage media planning, buying, and execution across both digital (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, local platforms like LINE, KakaoTalk) and traditional media channels (e.g., TV, print, OOH) in Japan and Korea.
Ensure campaigns are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet performance objectives tailored to both markets.
-Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Track and analyze the performance of media campaigns across Japan and Korea, providing actionable insights to optimize strategies and maximize ROI.
Prepare detailed performance reports, tracking KPIs and making data-driven recommendations for refining future campaigns.
-Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with the Marketing Communication Strategy and Content team and local sales teams to ensure campaigns are executed seamlessly and in line with broader marketing goals.
Provide the Head of Media and Content team with insights on local trends, challenges, and opportunities in the local markets to inform strategy adjustments and improvements.
