About the Role
We are looking for an experienced corporate communications and external affairs professional to further strengthen the positive reputation of the W. L. Gore & Associates and support growth in our APAC markets. A key focus of the role will be in support of consistent communication for Gore’s Performance Solutions divisional strategy and application in engaging Associates, customers, media and other external partners across multiple markets (Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Electronics, Industrial, Semiconductor). This ideal candidate will play an active role building/protecting Gore’s reputation, equipping leaders, managing media relations and crisis/issues communications, while also maintaining/advising on our GORE Brand verbal and visual identity system.
Responsibilities
・Proactively drive with leaders and other Associates the development of Gore’s divisional communications strategy and contribute to communication plans to reach Associates through varied media and channels, including communications for internal news, board meetings, town halls, newsletters, annual reports and the shareholders’ meeting.
・Serve as a skilled, knowledgeable communications lead on topics that have the potential to impact the reputation of Gore, positively or negatively. Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and other divisions of Gore in the APAC region to quickly identify and respond to emerging topics and media inquiries that have a potential impact on our reputation.
・Develop communication initiatives, resources, message frameworks, materials/content to enable key audiences to understand and confidently share appropriate information about Gore Performance Solutions. Utilize channels such as our intranet, internal app, digital displays and external website/social channels.
・Serve as a communications consultant to global and regional leaders on messaging, development, timing and delivery of communications.
・Create engaging content that distills complex concepts into clean, easily understood messages and stories. Conduct interviews/research to gather & validate information.
・Develop and maintain productive relationships with agencies, consultants and other partners, as needed for external affairs, design, print, translation, media, legal content review, etc.
・Ensure that all communications comply with brand/trademark guidelines, as well as enhance/protect Gore’s brand and reputation.
・Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders.
