■Position Summary
The IT System Engineer is responsible for delivering comprehensive IT support
for both internal employees and external customers, ensuring optimal operation
of Werfen’s clinical software, middleware, and IT infrastructure.
This includes installing and configuring clinical software at customer sites, supporting network and IT setups, and maintaining internal systems and hardware.
The role serves as the first level of IT support, manages incident resolution, and liaises between users and higher-tier support teams when needed.
This position involves both internal IT system maintenance and external clinical
software implementation and support, ensuring seamless connectivity and
system performance for laboratories, hospitals, and internal offices.

■Key Accountabilities
Internal IT Support:
 Perform incident resolution (e.g., password reset, printer issues, user
identification) for internal users.
 Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for workstations,
printers, servers, and network devices.
 Assist employees in troubleshooting personal computers, printers, and
peripheral devices.
 Monitor and maintain network systems, ensuring stable LAN/WAN
operations.
 Conduct asset management, preparing and deploying employee PCs.
 Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs and service
support.
 Ensure compliance with Werfen's Code of Ethics and IT security policies.

■External (Customer-Facing) Clinical IT Support:
 Lead technical installations of clinical software solutions (GEMweb Plus,
HemoHub, etc.) at laboratories and hospitals.
 Collaborate with customer IT teams to establish correct network
configurations (firewall, VLANs, VPN, etc.).
 Troubleshoot software, connectivity, and interface issues related to
LIS/HIS integration using ASTM and HL7 protocols.
 Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical consulting for clinical software
projects.
 Conduct technical training for Sales, Service Engineers, and Applications
teams.
 Escalate complex software or connectivity issues to Corporate Clinical
Software teams.
 Serve as the regional reference point for Clinical Software & Connectivity
expertise.

■主な職務内容
社内ITサポート：
・社内ユーザーに対するインシデント解決（パスワードのリセット、プリンターの問題、ユーザー認証など）を実施します。
・ワークステーション、プリンター、サーバー、ネットワーク機器のハードウェアおよびソフトウェアのインストール、構成、保守を行います。
・従業員のパソコン、プリンター、周辺機器のトラブルシューティングを支援します。
・ネットワークシステムの監視と保守を行い、LAN/WANの安定稼働を確保する。
・資産管理を行い、従業員用PCの準備と展開を行う。
・ハードウェアの修理およびサービスサポートに関して、外部ベンダーと連携する。
・Werfenの倫理規定およびITセキュリティポリシーを遵守する。

■外部（顧客対応）臨床ITサポート：
・検査室および病院における臨床ソフトウェアソリューション（GEMweb Plus、HemoHubなど）の技術的なインストールを主導する。
・顧客のITチームと協力し、適切なネットワーク構成（ファイアウォール、VLAN、VPNなど）を確立する。
・ASTMおよびHL7プロトコルを用いたLIS/HIS統合に関連するソフトウェア、接続、およびインターフェースの問題をトラブルシューティングする。
・臨床ソフトウェアプロジェクトに関するプリセールスおよびポストセールスの技術コンサルティングを提供する。
・営業、サービスエンジニア、およびアプリケーションチーム向けに技術トレーニングを実施する。
・複雑なソフトウェアまたは接続の問題を、コーポレート臨床ソフトウェアチームにエスカレーションする。
・臨床ソフトウェアおよび接続に関する専門知識について、地域における窓口となる。
