This role will provide Investment Management, Asset Management and Business Planning support to the group’s existing real estate business Japan, which include office buildings, residential buildings and bare land for future development.

With support from colleagues from ASO's Tokyo and Singapore offices, the Asset Manager is responsible for developing and executing individual asset plans for each property and supervise daily property operations (including liaising with the appointed counterparties e.g. property managers, vendors, leasing agents etc.).

These asset plans range from simple maintenance and leasing plans to more complex asset enhancements, upgrading or conversion projects and small-scale development/construction projects.

The Asset Manager will also have opportunities to explore, develop and originate investment opportunities.
With support from the team, s/he will also prepare reports to report on asset performance, prepare investment assessment reports and property investment proposals.

ASO Property Management (ASO) is a private Real Estate Investment and Management firm. For over 30years, we have been managing a significant real estate portfolio on a global basis. We currently have offices in Singapore, Tokyo and London.

ASO is seeking a self-motivated, resourceful, skilled, and detail-oriented Asset Manager to join our team
and be based in our Tokyo office.

技能/経験

1. Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
2.Asset Management Experience:
10 or more years of proven track record in real estate asset management, with a focus in residential and office/commercial properties.
Experience in development work strongly preferred.
3. Communication Skills:
Team-oriented personality with demonstrable ability to communicate with external and internal stakeholders.
Cross-cultural experience strongly preferred.
4. Market Knowledge:
Prior experience and network in Japan real estate markets, with multi-market international experience preferred.
5. Administrative Skills:
Good administrative, organization and multi-tasking skills are important, due to requirement for coordinating with multiple parties.
6. Language (Writing and Reading Skills):
Strong command in business English is important, due to requirement for reading, understanding and editing business and legal documents.
Ability to read and write Japanese is a bonus.
7. Language (Spoken):
English and Japanese fluency is important.
