仕事内容

■Job Summary
IT Capacity and Vendor Demand Manager will oversee (1) Capacity planning for IT internal resources and (2) Demand management for external vendors to ensure optimal resource utilization to effectively support IT delivery and realization of company strategy. The role requires understanding future IT workload for both BAU (Business As Usual) and Projects, and then working with IT teams and vendors to develop and maintain IT internal capacity plans as well as vendor demand plans. Capacity and Vendor Management covers over 500 IT internal resources and over 400 vendor FTEs across multiple vendor companies

Key Responsibilities
1.Collaborate with respective teams to understand BAU activities and upcoming projects which require engagement of IT internal and vendor resources.

2.Capacity Planning for internal resources
a.Collaborate with IT teams to develop comprehensive capacity plans to ensure availability of key resources needed to deliver BAU and strategic projects.
b.Maintain the capacity plans and adjust accordingly as demand changes
c.Identify potential capacity constraints for key roles.
d.Develop an assessment of how much projects can be delivered with the current available resources.
e.Work with company executives to prioritize projects considering capacity constraints
f.Work with respective IT teams and company executives to identify short term and long-term measures to address resource shortage for key roles.

3.External Vendor Demand Management
a.Work with IT teams to identify and consolidate vendor demand for planned BAU and projects.
b.Liaise with external vendors to understand capacity, capability, lead times, and existing constraints.
c.Identify potential gaps, and coordinate necessary adjustments (e.g., prioritization of projects, scheduling, resource reallocation) with IT teams and company executives.
d.Provide structured input to Contract/Financial Managers when demand or vendor capacity shifts significantly from contractual plans. This enables accurate estimation of cost impact and contractual implications

4.Process and Tools: Implement best practices and tools for doing effective Capacity and Vendor Demand Management.

5.Stakeholder Management: Act as the central point of coordination among IT teams, company leaders and vendors to ensure shared visibility and quick resolution of capacity and demand-related issues

6.Reporting: Generate regular IT Capacity and Vendor Demand reports to ensure shared visibility and to provide company executives with information for resource related strategic decision making.

■Key Stakeholder Engagement
1.IT Managers (resource managers)/Program Managers: Align on BAU and project plans. Align on implications of capacity and vendor demand plans on BAU and project delivery, including any necessary actions to address resource constraints.
2.Vendor Managers: Ensure vendor demand management processes are aligned with the overall vendor management framework
3.Financial/Contract Manager: Provide input when demand or vendor capacity shifts significantly from contractual plans.
4.IT Service Delivery Manager: Align expected workload with SLAs and service stability requirements
5.Company Executives: Share capacity and demand plans. Align on necessary actions needed at executive level to address resource constraints.
