【所属部門役割・ミッション】
”ソフトバンクでんき”ブランドを中心とした電力小売サービスを展開する事業をベースに、既存事業においては安定した運営による収益の最大化を、加えて更なる事業拡張をはかるため、市場全体の調査、制度対応、全体の展望を見通し、事業へのフィードバックを行い、電源調達/販売戦略を策定。
それに基づき、実際の電力トレーディング、リスク計量、デリバティブ・ヘッジ、収益改善に関わるフロント業務を担います。

【業務内容】
・電源調達/販売/取引先との折衝
・電力/燃料等の現物/先物取引実行、取引/口座管理（フロント業務）、取引に関連する社内折衝/決裁取得
・電力トレーディング戦略検討、収益改善
・契約内容の確認・交渉
・上層部へレポーティング及びその資料作成

海外の金融市場部において、市場および顧客動向を踏まえた市場性商品・スキーム・ビジネスアイデアの発掘から組成及びその展開を、社内外の多様な関係者と連携し推進。非日系企業のビジネス、海外スタッフとの協業がメインになります。

【職務内容】
「金利・為替」のトレーディング業務

・内外株式、先物、債券、為替などのいずれかの執行業務
・トレーディング部門としての、商品組成や規制対応等への主体的な関わり
・社内外関係者との業務調整

Position Description
The responsibilities of this role include, but not limited to:

•The Japanese Short-Term Power Trader is part of the trading team within JERAGM’s Japanese Power business. The person will play a key part in building-out a Japanese Power trading desk in close coordination with the Head of Japanese Power Trading.

•The person will be responsible for supporting the Japanese Power optimisation and trading activities as well as leading the development of JERAGM’s hedging and risk management service offerings to internal and external stakeholders.

•The role will involve taking responsibility for developing hedging and optimization trading strategies as well as monitoring Japanese power and other related commodity market conditions and trade execution across multiple global commodities exchanges, trade idea generation, trade booking in relevant systems, real time exposure confirmations, P&L analysis, daily risk exposure checks with middle office teams, and other related trading desk requirements.
• The person will coordinate closely with other members of the Japanese Power business and other JERAGM’s functions, in a collaborative and open manner.

■Key Role Responsibilities
This role reports to the Head of Japanese Power Trading.
Core responsibilities include:
•Contribute to develop and execute trading strategies set up by the desk from the Intra-Day up to the Month+1.
•Daily reconciliation of position and validation of PnL.
•Responsible of marking of Short-Term curve.
•Conduct pricing/execution/hedging strategies within risk limits to support the Japanese power optimisation and trading activities and facilitate hedging requirements from JERA and third parties.
•Leverage on internal and external hedging flow to generate P&L by trading across multiple energy assets/indices including but not limited to Japanese Power, European Gas, US Gas, Oil & LNG derivatives.
•Deploy trading strategies within the risk mandate to capture value from dislocations in fuel markets.
•Continuous daily analysis monitoring of supply demand fundamental, including in-depth weather analysis.
•Contribute to enhance analytics and innovate.
•Develop relationships with third parties active in the Asian financial markets to develop direct trading relationships and with a focus on developing within Asian hours liquidity in relevant financial products
•Manage physical and financial books to continuously re-optimise the physical positions, monitor/amend hedges (including currency exposure) and clear trades.
•Work closely with product control/Risks on curves input and ensure the accuracy of the daily P&L.
•Provide fit for purpose information for other management reports.
•Maintain a deep understanding of the prompt market and drivers to trade around the short-term curves.
•Daily gathering of market intel and promptly sharing across the Japanese Power team.
•Work closely with Origination and Portfolio team to support the portfolio optimisation and the development of a mid-term third party portfolio
•Function as a team-player and foster a collaborative and open working environment across the Japanese Power business and other functions of JERAGM.
