The Japan Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager is an individual contributor responsible for OPEX, long range planning (LRP), budget, monthly variance analysis and re-forecast as needed. The position reports to the Sr. Director of FP&A in CA and will also be responsible for ad-hoc projects for Japan. The FP&A Manger is the direct finance business partner for Japan’s Sr. Area Director and his team and responsible for business support on all operational issues and partner in lockstep with the Commercial organization to enable decision-making. In this fast-paced role, you will interact with the finance team and senior leaders throughout the organization.

8+ years experience in Finance or FP&A
Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including visualizations of data
Experience with Power BI or other analytics/data visualization tools
Experience with Hyperion Planning, Smart View, Oracle and/or Anaplan strongly preferred
Demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
Excellent quantitative, analytical and modeling skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present and communicate effectively with senior executives
Strong organizational and people skills and an ability to work autonomously and as a team member
Pharma finance is preferred
