1. Lead GLAP Associate Manager and coordinate with AR and Treasury team to oversee/support OCD and Godiva Japan monthly/quarterly/annual closing process
2. Lead 1 staff who manages customer/vendor master data input, monthly store inventory count result review and posting and IFRS16 lease asset tracking and accounting
3. Monitor monthly sales and COPS closing process
4. Review and posting monthly inventory provision adjustment and other routine monthly GL journal entries posting
5. Monthly income tax calculation and journal entries posting
6. Preparation of Monthly management flash PL for CFO and CEO
7. Working with Financial Reporting team to ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance under JGAAP and IFRS
8. Coordinate annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors
9. Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements (J-SOX)
10. Perform continuous assessment of the close process and process re-engineering to reduce the timing to close the financial period

1. USCPA or ACCA
2. Over 7 years’ experience in GL accounting and financial reporting
3. Familiar with both reporting under JGAAP and IFRS
4. English literacy at business level and in accounting
5. System experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP and Oracle Hyperion FCCS is a plus
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
