The Japan Learning & Talent Development manager leads talent development efforts toward building Manager/Leader Capability by the facilitation and deployment of learning and development solutions from the company leadership core curriculum and global offerings.
This position is a member of the Global Talent Management Team and will work closely with the Country / assigned geography Business and HR colleagues to deliver learning and development solutions to the right learner at the right time.
• Lead the facilitation and deployment of talent development solutions from the company core curriculum and other Global Offerings to the country / assigned geography.
• Conduct needs analysis with local leaders to determine the right learning solutions.
• Manage course communication, enrollment, and facilitator assignments.
• Conduct / facilitate core learning and development programs in the country / assigned region as needed i.e. Leadership Milestone Programs, High Potential Development Programs, Global Leadership Series, etc.
• Manage faculty through Train-the-Trainers to deliver core curriculum.
• Make appropriate adjustments to curriculum as needed to meet cultural needs of region / function / BU to ensure relevancy
• Partner with Talent Management Learning Design and Development team to improve the company’s developmental offering / roadmap, online platform and content based on stakeholder feedback.
• Consult with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders within region on delivery of development programs. Partner with HR leaders within region to assess development needs, source solutions, collect feedback and evolve program offerings.
• Provide meaningful metrics and data to demonstrate the value of programs and support ongoing enhancements.
• Be the liaise between the TM CoE and the business & support additional Enterprise Talent Management efforts as needed based on local capacity (Succession Planning, Workforce planning, Engagement & Performance, Coaching, Executive Development ,360, Strengths Coaching).
• Partner with Quality in support of Quality management system training activity and record keeping for audit purposes including SLMS.
• Partner with local functional learning and development (Sales, Finance, RAQA) to ensure alignment of learning solutions and minimize redundancy / duplication of efforts.
