Position Summary
Strategic and influential HR Business Partner responsible for leading HR initiatives that directly support business growth and organizational effectiveness in a dynamic retail environment. This role requires the ability to translate business priorities into HR strategies, advise senior leaders, and drive enterprise-level HR programs. The Manager, HRBP will serve as a trusted advisor to management, proactively identifying organizational needs, shaping talent strategies, and driving cultural and operational excellence across both retail stores and the head office. Beyond HR expertise, strong leadership, data-driven decision making, innovation mindset, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives are essential.
Principal Accountabilities
•Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, developing and executing mid- to long-term HR strategies aligned with business objectives and organizational transformation.
•Provide thought leadership and expert consultation on talent engagement, performance management, employee relations, workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
•Lead and influence organizational design initiatives to strengthen capabilities and support business growth.
•Drive workforce planning and talent allocation strategies to optimize labor productivity and ensure readiness during peak retail seasons.
•Oversee complex employee relations matters, providing guidance to managers and ensuring compliance with labor regulations while maintaining a positive work environment.
•Partner with COE teams to design, implement, and evaluate HR programs such as L&D, talent reviews, leadership development, DE&I initiatives, and compensation planning.
•Utilize HR metrics and insights to support decision-making, identify improvement areas, and measure the impact of HR programs.
•Champion employee experience initiatives, leading cross-functional projects that enhance motivation, engagement, and overall organizational culture.
•Coach and guide junior HR members or HRBPs, fostering capability building and continuous improvement within the HR function.
•Promote operational excellence by reviewing and improving HR policies, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
