直接材・間接材の調達戦略、サプライヤーの開拓・管理、交渉、プロセス改善などをお任せいたします。
※実際の購買業務（購入・手配）は別の購買担当者が担当します。
レポートライン：Head of Purchasing-East APAC（中国）、ヨーロッパとの連携も発生いたします。
スタンドアローンで動くポジションですが、日本オフィス、グローバルともにサポートのある環境です。

※耐火物とは
読んで字のごとく、約1500度以上の高温に耐え、熱や腐食環境下でも溶けたり変形したりしない工業材料です。
鉄鋼、ガラス、セメント、鋳造業界やゴミ焼却炉の内張りに用いられる、製造業になくてはならない基盤材料です。

■Job Summary
The Plant Purchasing Manager will ensure the operational continuity and purchasing excellence of his/her perimeter.
Playing an active role in continuous improvement of processes and strategy on purchasing business
- Responsible for the Source to contract process/performance for his/her portfolio
- Be the single point of contact with the local operation and business management team
- Systematically manage the all spends for continuous improvement on cost, risk and sustainability.
- Drive the purchasing excellence at quantitative and qualitive areas
- Ensure internal customer satisfaction with the performance of the purchasing team
- Close collaboration with supply chain / procurement and global purchasing team
- Categories Spend through work close collaboration with the global category leaders and regional head - (raw materials, indirect, transport, energy, capex…)

■Responsibilities
• Execute the country & global purchasing vision & strategy within Japan & in coordination with the Purchasing Global/regional Team
• Demand excellence, and ensure alignment/implementation to overall purchasing strategy
• Ensure application and compliance of Japan Purchasing to group category management policy
• Collect, centralize and optimize the Japan’s site requirements in terms of quantity & specification & volume
• Ensure compliance with purchasing strategy and policy at country level
• Cultivate & maintain relationships with internal clients/business partners
• Systematically review the spends and challenge the status-quo for improvement opportunities and action plans
• Lead new purchasing initiatives at cross-functionals on a case-by-case basis
• Organize competitive RFQ and negotiate with the suppliers for better terms and results
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with competitive bidding
• Supplier panel and relationship management for supply chain risks and competition
• Organize and coordinate local trials with the suppliers selected by the initiatives & Sourcing new suppliers and negotiating contracts for excellence
• Become a peer, counsellor and partner to the business, operation and supply chain
• Supplier quality management by working with QC/QA
• Reporting and analysis, collecting and reporting on the country’s financial purchasing performance, including tracking the target savings and KPIs
• Support some related purchasing tasks arise from Korea sales office

【学歴・経験】
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business or similar
• 5-8 years’ work experience in a similar sourcing & purchasing role
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with competitive bidding
• Maritime purchasing experience will be a plus
• MS Excel and SAP experiences are preferable
