This role is responsible for developing and executing market access strategies and programs for marketed and new products in Japan. Key responsibilities include leading pricing and reimbursement submissions, negotiating with MHLW, estimating drug prices and analyzing repricing risks, assessing HTA impact, supporting health insurance-related activities, and resolving market access issues. The position also drives stakeholder engagement and collaborates with trade associations to improve the healthcare environment.

・Bachelors’ Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
・PhD level or above in health economics, epidemiology, PharmD or biostatistics preferred
・3+ years of relevant pharma industry experience with specialty products is required
・Experience in pricing and/or Health economics are required.
・Understanding of the healthcare systems, pricing, access and reimbursement process in Japan is required
・Demonstrated experience in managing multiple cross functional projects and related budget required
・Demonstrated understanding of the dynamics of international pricing and health care systems.
・Fluent communication in English
