■Main Job Purpose
This role has the overall responsibility for landing end-to-end planning - identifying business needs, deploying and implementing plans to deliver service, cost, and cash targets. Responsible for setting planning parameters and maintaining governance.

■Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
· End-to-End Planning & Performance Oversight: Lead robust deployment and execution of business plans – supply, demand and innovations to fulfill service, cost, cash, and KPI targets – including but not limited to DR, CCFOT, FA, FB, Gross Margin, etc. Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps, maintaining effective governance and adherence to Ways of Working (WoW).

·Waste Prevention & Resource Optimization: Monitor and act to minimize waste across finished goods, packaging, and raw materials, ensuring optimal resource utilization throughout the planning lifecycle.

·Escalation, Prioritization & Agility: Manage escalations, set priorities, and facilitate trade-off decisions during supply constraints to ensure business continuity. Proactively trigger actions to address capacity requirements and enhance operational agility, supporting both immediate needs and long-term objectives.

·Cross-Functional & Project Leadership: Serve as the planning representative in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) and MBR (Monthly Business Review) forums, ensuring alignment of production plans—including products, promotions, and innovations—with market requirements and timelines. Oversee timely delivery of projects tied to new product launches and relaunches, fully supporting site innovation goals.

·Team Development & Transformation Initiatives: Mentor and develop the planning team, fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture. Lead agility and transformation programs, cost-saving measures, and initiatives aimed at enhancing capacity and driving innovation.

■Skills Profile
·Extensive supply chain experience, with over ten years in various roles with Comprehensive understanding of factory operations, supply chain strategies, and demand planning processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.

·More than five years of hands-on people management, including leading, mentoring, and developing teams to achieve organizational goals.

·Proven ability to communicate effectively and influence a wide range of stakeholders within the organization, fostering collaboration and alignment.

·Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as significant expertise with ERP systems such as SAP to support data-driven decisions.

·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to break down complex issues and devise practical, actionable solutions.

·Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, ensuring clear and effective information exchange across all levels.

·Demonstrated leadership skills, with an inclusive approach focused on building diverse teams and nurturing talent for long-term success.

·Fluency in both Japanese and English, meeting the language requirements for both internal communication and external business interactions.
