【Requirements】
■ Thought leadership
- Ability to identify key issues / contentions for ambiguous problems
- Ability to simplify, structure, and output various data and information
- Ability to “connect the dots” to uncover insights and actions beyond the obvious
- Quantitative analytical skills: experience in using excel and BI tools to derive meaningful insights
- Planning skills to achieve goals with feasible timeline by the most effective way

■ Organizational skills / personality
- Comfortable to collaborate with different stakeholders of various backgrounds and ability to build and maintain trustful relationships
- Oral Communication skills to concisely convey essential information and insights that audiences require
- Can respect the “McD way”: Alignment culture / collective decision making
- Agility and flexibility to follow through unexpected and changing situations
- Can maintain focus on strategic priorities

■ Linguistics: Business level in both Japanese and English
- Should be comfortable with reading, writing, listening, and speaking both languages
- Some of the key counterparts are non-Japanese speaking, and others are non-English speaking

◆ Required work experience
- More than 10 years of B2C (FMCG / Service / Retail / Restaurant etc.) industry experience in a strategic planning, marketing, or insights role
- Alternatively,
Substantial consulting experience
e.g.
◆ Experience as a Senior Manager or above at BIG 4 Consulting firms
◆ Experience as an Manager at Management Consulting firms
- Experience of managing a team of 2~3 people
- Experience in B to C business (or projects working with clients in the B to C domain)
