■Missions and expected results
Sales Management:
1. Responsible for the achievement of the Budget for his portfolio of accounts across the multiple markets, especially within technical ceramics industry, through execution of his Commercial Action Plan
2. Develop business by gaining new customers and expanding existing customers.
3. Maintain customer relationships at all relevant levels (management, purchasing, technical).
4. Manage this relationship from first contacts (prospect) to final payment (credit
management).
5. Negotiates contract conditions in compliance with the APAC Director and Chief Commercial Officer and Technical engineer’s guidelines
6. Follow the selected Distributors in Japan.
7. Manage payment process and risk together with Sales administration and Credit Management.
8. Map the customer organization to understand decision making process.
9. Marketing analysis research on market conditions, consumer behavior and competitor’s information following the instruction from the HQ.
10. Support the technical engineers for his visits and communications with customers.
11. Follow up the Japanese subcontractor to maintain its quality, production and support the
new development.
12. Prepare the technical documentations with collaborating with HQ to meet customer’s requirement.
13. Organization and tracking samples at the customers.
14. Interface with the customer in the claim process.
■Reporting
1. Issue visit report to capture both short-term customer activities and long-term needs.
2. Report monthly results on the customer portfolio.
3. Prepare 3-month rolling sales forecasts to support the planning process.
4. Input to the Budget processes.
5. Report weekly actions and visits in the commercial action plan.
■休日:完全週休二日制, 土, 日, 祝日, GW, 年末年始
- 求める経験
年齢制限の理由 -
■Relevant Experience:
8+ years in sales of B2B products (ceramic materials, industrial minerals),
preferably including positions in a multinational company.
■Indispensable Technical Competencies & Skills:
Negotiation
Japanese (native)
Business English (spoken and written)
■Technical Competencies & Skills which would be a « plus »
Experience in Powder Materials. Knowledge of Ceramics is a plus.
■Personal Competencies:
Relationship building, Effective communication, Customer orientation, Result
orientation, Teamwork
■Specific Conditions (hours of work, travel required…):
Frequent domestic travel required. Overseas travel 1-2 times a year.
