■Dow Consumer Solution (DCS),
a business in Dow focusing on silicone technology and solutions toward Japan Customers/Markets, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sales Specialist. While DCS Japan serves 5 market segments, this role will focus on solutions toward Polyurethane applications under I&CP (Industrial & Chemical Processing) Segment which delivers various silicone additives toward broad industrial customers in Japan. ■About you and this role
We are looking for a Sr. Sales Specialist with strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and communication skills. The position will be responsible of Market and Accounts in Japan where new and existing silicone technology continues to support market growth. In this role you will have the responsibility to support the growth of the Consumer Solutions I&CP business by capturing new opportunities and managing momentum business, also aligning to and upgrading market/application strategies.
You will coordinate across all functions, including Sales, Marketing, TS&D, R&D, Communication, Customer Service and Product Management as well as with peers, key customers, distributors, and relevant teams in the other regions.
To maximize asset utilization, you will also be responsible for Forecast accuracy by working with Customers/ Distributors to enhance Dow’s capabilities to meet market needs. Portfolio management for growth opportunities both short to mid-long term will be managed through CRM.

■Responsibilities
・Manage the business of DCS I&CP for stable growth. Execute sales/marketing plan, delivering in volume and value. Develop the sales plan aligned to the marketing plan in coordination with other functions.
・Seek new Opportunities at new customers/applications directly or working with distributors.
・Maintain and expand the account portfolio and Dow’s presence in the region.
Understand the customer needs to differentiate Dow and gain market share.
・Search new product development opportunities within the market and collaborate with TS&D/R&D for technical proposals.
・Maintain and strengthen customer relationships, expand network to different levels within a customer’s organization.
・Develop sales forecasts in coordination with Product Lines and Supply Chain.
・Collect and utilize market intelligence to shape sales plan and marketing strategy.
・Lead and conduct negotiations for developing/implementing necessary price strategies aligned with business goals, and other commercial conditions as needed.
・Collaborate with other functions and stakeholders to deliver CX results.
