Position Overview:
As a Director, Asset Management, you will lead a team responsible for a wide range of activities all
directed toward the same goal: maximizing the profitability and overall success of operating
assets. You will be part of the Asset Management team and will work closely with external stakeholders
and cross-functionally with other teams, including Operations, Performance Engineering, Insurance,
Finance, Accounting and Commercial teams.
Responsibilities:
Asset Management/Finance:
Manage project contractual relationships to protect rights and drive performance.
Assist in developing annual budgets for the projects and perform periodic variance analyses
Provide input to and review of the pro-forma financial models for generation assets
Draft reports on project performance for investors and lenders
Assist in cash flow forecasting and management
Perform financial analyses of aftermarket improvements
Develop other ad-hoc analyses as needed
Operations/Engineering:
Collaborate with the operations engineering team to evaluate and improve operational
performance
Coordinate with 3rd Party O&M service providers and Invenergy’s Operations team on all O&M
topics, including Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) topics to ensure the safety of onsite personnel and equipment.
Participate in contract development with outside vendors, for various services Commercial/Energy Management:
Provide input to and review asset bidding and scheduling
Support development of commercial contracts and bids
Collaborate with commercial team on short and long-term power market strategy
Insurance:
Support Insurance team in coordinating insurance efforts from development through to
operational phases of all projects, analyzing and evaluating insurable risks and potential risk
mitigants.
Coordinate with the insurance department of the US parent company, Japanese insurance
agents and project contractors in relation to any insurance matters
