IT Client Service and Security Manager is responsible for

・Service delivery management of all IT collaboration/Client services to DSC Japan users. This includes service management of PC, Active Directory, Microsoft Lync, SharePoint, VPN, Mobility service, Shared File Server etc.

・Maintaining high levels of end-user satisfaction with the services provided by the Service Desk & Desktop services, through empathy and understanding of the needs of business end-users (incidents, standard work requests, new services)

・Act as a subject matter expert to implement information security services to address compliance gaps versus IT security standards (including coordination of vulnerability scanning, penetration test).

・Along with ISM Manager, devising and maintaining processes (ITIL based) that ensure all IT issues are managed, and that robust escalation procedures are in place.

・Contribute all levels of IT Service delivery activities in DSC Japan

<Key Activities>

・Ensure desktop support/collaboration services to deliver within agreed service Level Target for internal customers.

・Manage multiple service providers to meet SLA and KPIs.

・Collaborate with the HQ/region team to implement global standard solution in Japan.

・Continuous process improvement which lead to cost reduction or improve customer satisfaction.

・Lead to implement necessary security measures to address non-compliance of IT security standard.

・Lead Incident / Problem Management for all ISM activities.

・Involve and participate in the security audit by customer or internal audit teams, and develop corrective actions to address any gap

・Collaborate with other team member within the BU to meet customer requirement.

・Develop new innovative end-user services by leveraging new technology available on the market

・Lead a team of support staff to meet the KPI   

・Continuous improvement of existing operation. Process and control based on ITIL framework.

・Work with operation teams and other IT functions, in both daily operation and project.       

・Manage IT infrastructure projects, balancing out time, cost, and quality to deliver performance within specified budget.  

・Work with HQ/Regions ISM, Risk Management Audit and Legal department to improve level of IT security. If required, deal with government agency to satisfy the legal requirements on IT security including Data Privacy laws.

<Key Capabilities & Skills>

・Proven working experience in IT service management in the information technology sector

・Solid Working Knowledge and experience of IT security, Risk management and governance

・Proven ability and working experience to manage multiple accounts, activities and projects

・Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in Windows Server and Client tools.

・Deep Understanding of ITIL framework

・Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

・Leadership Skill (Developing People and Building & Leading Teams

・Written and verbal communication skills (Working level required in both Japanese and English)


・Able to work on own initiative and to take responsibility and ownership of initiatives

・Effective at prioritizing tasks, managing time, and meeting deadlines.

<Expected years of experience>

・Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

<Expected Educational Qualifications>

・Bachelor’s (Business, Information Systems, Computer Science) or relevant experience (Mandatory)

・ITIL Certification (preferred) 

・IT Security related Certification (preferred)

・IT Technical Certification such as MCP (preferred)
