*Primary Role

・SFE/Sales Incentive Bonus management


・Event Management

Customer Facing Excellence/CRM Lead is responsible for driving commercial and business excellence by implementation and improvement of all relevant customer-facing related activities incl. Sales Incentive Bonus management, Sales Force training, upgrading of customer engagement initiatives, and event management, in order to maximize business impact in all Franchises.

<Essential Functions>


SFE and Sales Incentive Bonus Management: 40%

・Be involved in the development of new business models (ex. C&ME), and implement it in Japan,

・Implement Headquarter driven SFE systems, tools, analytics, performance dashboards and KPIs across the different Franchises

・Evaluate and introduce emerging new promotion technology in collaboration with other functions

・Drive Sales Force productivity and improve quality and transparency of resource allocation decision making by targeting & segmentation, territory design/alignment, Sales Force capacity planning, product allocation, call planning, customer adoption ladder, performance monitoring, Sales Force ROI analysis

-Develop, upgrade and monitor Sales Incentive Bonus scheme

-Align brand strategy with sales incentive schemes

-Monitor local SFE performance and provide regular reports to GMs and Franchise Heads.

Training: 30%

・Manage Training Lead to ensure continuous training of sales force with goal of Shire MR = No.1 MR in mind of customer

・Ensure product knowledge, selling skills, market and competitive knowledge of field force

・Coordinate and implement/localize the global training module to secure upgrading and upskilling of Sales Managers, Sales Reps and all customer facing functions

・Drive periodical assessment of competencies on individual employee and Sales Force line level

・Administrate MR License of all sales reps and manage necessary trainings for maintaining MR licenses

Event Management: 30%

・Manage Meetings and Events Lead to ensure quality of planning and execution of wide variety or meetings and customer events, with goal of Shire Event = Something memorable in customers’ mind

・This role needs to successfully build a strategic partnership with Franchise Head(s) and holds shared-accountability to drive customer facing excellence.

<Education & Experience Requirements>

Include educational requirements or equivalency, required years and type(s) of experience, and necessary licenses or certificates. Specify which are required and which are preferred. For UK, please do not use years of experience due to UK Legislation.

・Minimum three years of experience in Customer Relationship Management/Sales Force Effectiveness related experience in pharmaceutical industry.

・Sales or Marketing experience in pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

・BA/BS degree; preferably advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g. MBA)

・Experience to plan, implement and monitor Sales Incentive scheme.

・Experience to manage or be in charge of Sales Training related capability.
