Jr. Account Manager, Japan (Ecommerce Sales)

Are you result-driven sales individual who has strong understanding of the ecommerce landscape in Japan・ Here’s a fantastic opportunity for you to join our ecommerce team in Japan.

The e-commerce team is a newly established function in Japan. We are here to build trusted relationships with our customers. We enable our customers to connect and convert shoppers and consumers in the digital marketplace ・ and bring the LEGO play experiences to many more children in Japan.

Take on the challenge to be a pioneer member of our ecommerce team in Japan

The e-commerce account manager will have a dedicated focus on growing and developing our Amazon business partnership.

・ Customer Business Planning & Collaboration: Be responsible for supporting the creation of the strategic framework for the Amazon annual business plan.

・ Lead the Customer Planning Process to achieve/exceed sales results, improve customer relationships, and increase profits for LEGO and Amazon.

・ Be the primary contact and anchor for holistic Amazon account relationship through developing close collaborative interaction with Amazon buying, planning and marketing teams.

・ Responsible for developing and executing a rich and engaging annual promotional plan that helps achieve scorecard objectives while differentiating Amazon within the market.

・ Collaborating with Amazon vendor management team, as well as LEGO marketing functions.

・ Oversee Demand Planning and Logistics Execution: Collaborate with Demand Planning function to develop accurate shipment and consumer sales forecasts that align with customer and LEGO business plans.

・ Work closely with Amazon Planning and Allocation function to develop customer receipt and sales plans. Execute orders & resolve issues as needed to deliver the plan.

・ Collaborate with LEGO logistics functions (allocation, order management) to service customer orders and address problems.

・ Ensure customer's activation plan aligns with LEGO’s strategic demand management objectives.

・ Manage customer and LEGO P/L

・ Deliver the agreed upon profit contribution in line with the overall company revenue and profit objectives.

・ Management of promotional funding and collaborating with Amazon on how best to utilize funds while focusing on driving sales in a profitable manner.

・ At least three years’ experience in account management, including long-term account planning

・ Ability to build sustained relationships with customers such as retailers and wholesalers

・ Exposure to FMCG or branded-goods environment is ideal

・ Background in international or cross-functional environments

・ Knowledge of trade marketing or category management would be an advantage

・ University degree or equivalent professional qualification
