If you are willing to learn then we will teach you the best practices, skills and knowledge you need to be successful. As part of a team of Consultants you will be working closely with research and business development experts.

You will be a highly self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record for selling in the business-to-business arena and have the tenacity, drive, commercial awareness and persuasiveness to find the right contacts and sell the benefits of our products.

As this role involves selling customized research solutions to large, multinational companies, you will be skilled in networking within a target company, understanding the needs of different stakeholders (from marketing, sales, new product development, strategy, category management) and designing the best fit solutions to deliver the research and insights to meet clients’ needs.

This represents a significant opportunity for someone looking for a diverse and in-depth international sales role, targeting senior management in customer organisations.

Working closely with the Head of Business Development, Consulting in the region this is an opportunity to drive sales of Euromonitor’s Consulting services.

■Key responsibilities

・Understand all of Euromonitor’s intelligence systems, how to show them and how they are used by our customers ・ by roles within customer organisations and by end applications

・Understand the full range of our Consulting research capability and be able to describe that range ・ by generic research type, by past project examples and by end applications to different types of client and business situation

・To react to incoming opportunities from sales and account managers, and furth





・A highly self-motivated sales / consulting professional with a sales track record in B2B arena

・A good listener, inquisitive and questioning mind, intelligent (strong academic record), creative thinker with aptitude for problem solving

・Ability to develop and write strong proposals

・Experience in government tender and its proposal writing in Japanese is a plus

・Oral and written fluency in English to business level (proposals are mostly in English)

・Excellent negotiation and communication skills

・Commercial awareness , tenacity, drive and resilience

・Basic knowledge of different research approaches, their application to solve different information needs

・Ability to run own sales territory and to manage ongoing discussions and proposal work with many different companies at same time

・Ability to meet regular sales targets, quarterly and annually, so able to work under pressure

・A team player and desire to seek out the input and opinions of others

・Good IT and organisational skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
