We’re looking for a strategic, results-oriented professional to join our Sales & Commercial Excellence team.

The Senior Customer Development Manager will be based in Japan and report to the Head of APAC Customer Development. You will have the mandate of enabling the markets to approach the sales planning with a long term strategic mindset, build strong customer business plans and partnerships ensuring that APAC maintains a sustainable growth agenda.

Your tasks will include:

・ Ensure that a coherent approach to Go-To-Market Planning and Customer Business Planning is implemented in collaboration and sparring with the Japan Sales leadership and key account management team

・ Drive relevant channel strategies and directions are embedded in customer business plans, building on the strengths and role of individual retailers in Japan

・ Drive local market customer segmentation: Collaboration with the Japan sales leadership ensuring that we maintain our customer segmentation overview and act accordingly across channels and customers;

・ Drive space optimization: Ensure Key Account Managers understand and conduct space optimization and merchandising leveraging regional guidelines. Ensure their ability to evaluate findings and implement into the customer business plans and dialogue;

・ Drive trade promotion effectiveness; Ensuring that Key Account Managers have the ability and understanding of how to leverage a regional trade promotion toolbox and effectiveness tool. Provide sparring and ensure understanding of how to combine trade promotion effectiveness with the regional trade promotion guidelines.

・ Drive a local and APAC sales training agenda and be a go-to person & role model for Key Account Managers and Sales teams on key Sales topics

This role reports to the APAC Customer Development Director in Singapore but work closely with the Sales Director, Jun Kudo, and his KAM teams. We are looking for experienced candidates from Key Account Management / Customer Marketing background with a strategic mindset to implement the above.

・ Collaborating with Amazon vendor management team, as well as LEGO marketing functions.

・ Oversee Demand Planning and Logistics Execution: Collaborate with Demand Planning function to develop accurate shipment and consumer sales forecasts that align with customer and LEGO business plans.

・ Work closely with Amazon Planning and Allocation function to develop customer receipt and sales plans. Execute orders & resolve issues as needed to deliver the plan.

■Main Purpose of Job

The Nespresso eCommerce Manager is accountable for the market's eCommerce Channels Sales.
